Have you seen the TV show they've made? The Sarah Conner Chronicles? That's the dumbest name I've ever heard, try saying it three times fast. I stopped watching 25 minutes into the show, they actually succeeded in making Arnold Schwarzenegger look good at acting by comparrison.

Yeah, but imagine... what if Christian Bale actually makes the movie a total success? That means more Terminator movies...

and hell, they managed to screw NGE in the last episodes...

I think Ghost in The Shell is a little bit overated, it's just an animated version of Blade Runner. But I absolutely love all the shots of city scapes that Mamoru Oshii puts into all his films; like that long sequence of Motoko riding on the top of the bus in the first film, I could watch that on a loop.

yep, that's what it is... people elevate it too much.
The good are truly rare. I still cherish Ghost in the Shell, but Death Note now has a place in my heart... (hopefully they won't screw it in the last episodes)
